The last of the imagined Lobby Cards for “Anna” while I finish up a 2K DCP of the film. The 5.1 mix has been ready for a year now, it’s time to get this thing together and show it shown somewhere.
I’m gearing up for working on the new transfer of “Anna” and getting the film to look good in 2K. So here are more fake Lobby Cards for the film – as if it were showing in the 1970s.
I was having so much fun with the Big Dong Lobby Cards, why not do a set of lobby cards for “Anna?”
Attendees of my screening in 2009 were treated to an apparently once-in-a-lifetime event: the only screening of my 20 minute short, “Anna.” This is due to the film having originated on 16mm, having been transferred to DV, and screened in standard definition. This little forgotten routine comes from the “Violent Combat Robots” project, originally intended to be a series. While strolling through the archives looking for other material, I stumbled upon it – a short that was made as a”proof of concept” for the VCR series that never went. The weird animation on her eyes is actually […]
It was David Schulman’s birthday and the Fake Wildman made this special video greeting for him.
